Dance Lesson, 2010
A friend of mine let me come in and take photos of her dance class. This is just one of the sweet moments that I witnessed.
This might be surprising, but I just recently shot my first roll of 120 film. I’m HOOKED. The film is getting dropped off tomorrow, and I can’t wait to get the negatives back!
However, I’m a bit anxious since I’m not sure I loaded the film correctly… winner.
The next roll is loaded (correctly) and ready to go!!
Now - who wants their portrait taken?
Interview with Doug Dubois.
I’m a fan of his work and am grateful that this video exists since I find it interesting to see how photographers process their time and work.
I’m featured on the Photo Everyone blog today, go check it out!
I love the detail in these street shots from Stephanie Gage, who is one of our first contributors. You can follow her on tumblr and check out her other work on her website.
Ehhh, I’m not up for trying this process, but I do agree that the photos are awesome.
Who’d have known your stomach could double as a camera?
Two UK students, Josh Lake and Luke Evans, ate 35mm film and were able to process photos after the film, erm, came out!
My friend Eric does some amazing portraits, folks. Check him out, please.

Howl Interiors. I was introduced to Barry Jelinski by my friend, his employee, Georgia. When I asked if I could take his portrait he said, “I don’t really like being photographed.” There was a brief pause followed by him saying, “I don’t care. Do whatever you want.”
I don’t think there was anything better that he could have said.
